O uso da terra e os processos erosivos na microbacia do córrego Águas Claras em Juscimeira (MT)

Abstract

The present work had as its central objective analyze the relationships between changes in lands uses and occupations between the Years of 2006, 2014 and 2019 and the linear erosive processes in the Águas Claras Stream microbasin in the municipality Juscimeira-MT. This type of analyze was based on the relationship Society x nature, on what, the Society to the if own, occupy and use the natural element of soil, turning it into a resource, makes use not knowing and/or not respecting their weaknesses and potential. Thus, the materiality of that are the degradations of the environment in the form of grooves, ravines, gullies, siltations and losses arable áreas. The main procedure used to collected the necessary data for the development of research was the use of images obtained through the software Google Earth Pro of thoose years for, through visual identification, to quantify linear erosive features and associate them with the type of land use and ocuppation. Thus, between the years 2006 and 2014 there was an aproximatte 50% increase in the number of erosive features over pasture areas, while, between 2014 and 2019, 77% over pasture areas and temporary tilth. It was found, too, that increases in erosive features ocurred mainly in reliefs whit slops of 20 % to aproximatelly 40% with Stony to gravelly soils, besides presenting only 3,75% of all vegetation (native, of swamp and permanent preservation area), therefore, areas with difficult erosion control, what makes it essential the intensive use of soil conservation practices to avoid losses.
